The next parent council meeting will be held at 7.15pm in the Primary School and will be attended by Elaine Patterson who will give the head teachers report.
Halloween Disco – Friday 30th October
A big thanks to everyone for helping out at the Halloween disco last week and to everyone who came along. We raised £150 on the night!
The Halloween Disco is scheduled for 6.30pm until 8pm in the Scout Hall.

East Neuk Parent Council Group
It’s all very exciting! The East Neuk Parent Council Group met for the very first time last week and we are well on our way to having a fully-fledged group working towards benefiting the school children of the East Neuk. Watch this space for updates on the progress of the group……

Pittenweem Gala 2010 – Committee Meeting Fri 6th November
Some of you may have already seen the posters up around the village about a potential Pittenweem gala for 2010, and letters have been sent out to businesses and organisations in Pittenweem. As we discussed in previous parent council meetings, Sara and Kirsten have been looking into the possibility of getting funding for this and have had a very positive reaction from Fife Council.
A meeting will be held tomorrow night at 7pm in the New Town Hall to form the committee for the gala. The committee needs to be constituted before it can apply for funding.
Anyone who can’t make it tomorrow night and who wants to be involved, whether by joining the committee or helping out in other ways, will still be able to get involved at future meetings. However it would be great to see as many faces as possible.
